The person behind the products

A curious mind.
An unlikely route.

Hi, I’m Dávid

It started with
a Pentium 4 computer.

I grew up in the Hungarian countryside. I’ve always loved computers, although I’ll admit my first motivation wasn’t particularly noble: we didn’t have money for all the video games I wanted.

So I went online and figured things out. Torrents, game cracks, forums, trial and error. An unconventional introduction to technology, but it gave me a habit that stuck: when I don’t know how something works, I want to learn.

That curiosity has taken me
a long way from video games.

01 / A different direction

First, I studied
people and politics.

I studied political science at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. Along the way, I worked in political research, helped organise workshops and conferences, and coordinated campaign events.

It might seem a long way from building websites. But understanding people, making sense of information, and communicating an idea turned out to be a useful starting point.

02 / The turning point

Then came
Google Ads.

After university, I moved into Google Ads account strategy through TTEC. Working with companies and agencies, including large advertisers, gave me a close-up view of how digital marketing works at scale.

I learned to look beyond a good-looking ad: the audience, the account structure, the landing page, and what happens after someone clicks. That experience grew into international campaign work at Groupon and Atlas Copco.

03 / Connecting the dots

I wanted to build
what I was marketing.

The more I worked on campaigns, the more interested I became in the products behind them. I wanted to help shape the website and the experience, as well as bring people to it.

That led me to co-found Performoon: a digital marketing agency that also creates websites, brands, and products. Strategy, design, development, and advertising became parts of the same work.

04 / Making it my own

From client work
to my own ideas.

I started building products and businesses of my own, too. Real estate lead generation became a natural fit: I create the website, run the ads, and build the systems that help turn an enquiry into a conversation.

Today, that includes property platforms across Spain, Thailand, and Dubai, MarciCRM, and work with businesses across e-commerce, fintech, hospitality, and local services. I still enjoy figuring things out. The things I’m building have just got a little bigger.

I build the website.
I run the ads.
I care what happens next.
